Going back to basics

Perhaps it’s all the 1′s in today’s date – and needing to look out for #1.  Perhaps it’s that I’ve just left home for what promises to be a whirlwind seven months – and need to return in better form than I departed. Perhaps it’s just that I need to get my ass in shape before I die.  I’ll call it all that.

11/1/11 to 5/28/12 = 209 days

There’s no way in hell I’m going to go as extreme and ascetic as the 100 days but I’ve got to do something and I’ll outline it for myself in subsequent posts, for now it’s going to be just a matter of keeping track.

Thus, Day 1 – The beginning

30 minutes elliptical, 1.5 miles distance, approx 290 cal
